Members and friends of Quapaw Quarter United Methodist Church met in our John Wesley Room on Saturday, June 3, to prepare snack packs and hygiene kits for the homeless and near-homeless. Many hands made light work — 100 of each were completed in about a half-hour. The packs and kits are distributed on request to individuals who stop by the church for assistance on days that the Food Pantry is closed.

The materials for the hygiene kits were made available through a grant from the Blue & You Foundation for a Healthier Arkansas. Efforts to secure the grant were led by QQUMC member Austin Tisdale. Thank you, Blue & You and Austin!
