Quapaw Quarter UMC has long been an accepting and affirming congregation that loves without exception.
Now that the UMC has fully opened its doors, we are offering a special service for people who were unable to get married inside a church to come inside our sanctuary and renew their vows. We are open to people of all ages, ethnicities, genders, sexual orientations, physical and mental abilities, economic means and family structures.
Perhaps you were married in a courtroom, a yard, at a hospital bedside, or any other place because you were not able to celebrate your marriage inside the church. We are inviting all couples to come renew your vows in front of our congregation, your friends, and other couples on Friday, September 6 at 6:30 pm in SoMa in our historic sanctuary.
